Veterinarians:

Dr. James Mathias Owner - Medical Director

Dr. Jim started the Tipp City Veterinary Hospital in 1980 and still loves being a vet. He has a focused interest in orthopedic surgery and working with birds and exotic pets. He and his wife, Jennie, are long-time residents of Tipp City. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, reading and playing basketball. Dr. Jim is a 1978 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Susan Dextradeur Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Susan joined the practice in 1996. She has a special interest in small animal internal medicine and also enjoys soft-tissue surgery. She resides with her husband, Dave, in Piqua. Outside of work, she enjoys working with her horses, canine agility training and spending time with her family. Dr. Susan is a 1993 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Nick Mathias Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Nick joined the practice after graduating veterinary school in 2007. He enjoys taking on challenging cases and has a focused interest in dentistry and soft-tissue surgery. He resides with his wife, Kristine, in Tipp City. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, photography, cycling, and reading. Dr. Nick is a 2007 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Jacob Mathias Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Jacob joined the practice after graduating veterinary school in 2007. He enjoys taking on challenging cases and has a focused interest in cardiology and soft-tissue surgery. He resides in Tipp City. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, playing basketball and spending time with his family. Dr. Jacob is a 2007 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Ben joined the practice in 2004. He resides in Tipp City. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, reading, cycling and spending time with family and friends. Ben is a 2004 graduate of Miami University.

Amy Liskey Practice Manager aliskey@tippvet.com

Amy has enjoyed being a part of the hospital since 1997. She is a lifelong resident of Tipp City and currently resides here with her husband and their three children. Outside of the hospital, in addition to participating in her children's education and interests, she enjoys outdoor activities including biking and boating with family. She is a 1994 graduate of the Sinclair Community College.

Gay Frazier Lodging Manager gfrazier@tippvet.com

Gay joined the practice in 1998. She hails from Blantyre, a small village in Scotland. She enjoys cooking, reading and walking the trails at Charleston Falls, but most of all she loves caring for pets here at TCVH.

Jennifer has enjoyed being a part of the hospital since 1999. She resides in Tipp City with her husband, Kevin and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking ,Turkish belly dance and spending time with friends and family. She is a 2002 graduate of the Sinclair Community College.
